Our Story

Est. 1999 in Healdsburg, CA

Saint Dizier Home is Healdsburg’s premiere interior design showcase featuring a wide assortment of classic and modern collections. We offer a range of design services with complementary consultations from our showroom team. Our craftsmen can also build most custom concepts as well. Our 19 years of experience allow us to deliver concierge level service with ease while providing you with high quality design.

Since 1999, Jacques Saint Dizier and Cathy Hopkins have worked to make Saint Dizier Home the type of environment where you can step off of the plaza and be transported into a world of easy elegance and comfortable sophistication.  Representing over 50 lines as well as products from our own collection, there is a vast range of furnishings, lighting, textiles, accessories and gift items from around the world of design.

Headed by Cathy Hopkins, SDH offers a range of design services with complementary consultation.  Our designers can visit you to help assess your needs and develop ideas that can transform your home.  Our craftsmen can custom make almost anything you can dream up and maybe some you haven’t thought of.  From window coverings to carpets and lighting, Saint Dizier Home is an unlimited source for solving your design challenges.

A Sonoma County native, Cathy has been in the furnishings and design industry for 22 years. In 1999, she helped develop the original Saint Dizier Home, lending her extensive knowledge of furnishings to the process and wielding her impeccable style to help carve out the look of SDH. Cathy has brought her expertise to hundreds of projects resulting in a veritable ‘Who’s Who” of elated clients around Sonoma County and across the country.

From a southern upbringing, Jacques received his degree from LSU's Department of Architecture. He was then drawn to New York City where he practiced with some of the most respected names in Interior Design. Angelo Donghia and Valerian Rybar among them. In 1986, Jacques relocated to the Sonoma wine country in Northern California. Drawing on his experience in both New York and San Francisco, Jacques brought with him the knowledge that every person has a unique feeling about the definition of home. Therefore it only made sense that every home be unique. This focus on customizing every room in every home explains why Saint Dizier Design has twice landed him on Architectural Digest's prestigious AD 100 and earned accolades from the toughest critics a designer can face - his clients.
